'' AT GRANNY'S HOME''

      This   story is  about Ann. Ann  was  very  innocent,  brave and loving girl. She was living  with her  mom  in  London. Her  father  died  in  heart attack  few months  back. The only dream of  her was to keep her mom happy always at  any cost.
 
But  her  mom  pretended  to be happy to Ann as she doesn't want her child to know about her sadness. The reason for her sadness was she was missing her mom so much. There was a misunderstanding  between  Ann's  mother and granny  and  they were not  talking to each other from many years.

So, Ann decided to go to  Goa. There were two reasons behind this trip. One was Ann was missing her granny and other reason was she wanted to sort out the misunderstanding between her mother and granny.

  She  took  the flight on  6th June, 2014   at          11.00 pm . She  was  very  much  excited  to  see her grandma. The  flight reached  Goa  from  London at 12.55 am. With  the  lot of  excitement  she stepped  Goa . But  for  her  surprise, it  was  raining  heavily, and  she  was bit  scared  by the flashes  of  lightning  and  thunder  sound. By seeing  all  these  things  she  thought  that  nature  is  saying  something  to  her. She  took  the  umbrella  from  her  bag  and  was waiting  for  the taxi. Finally  taxi  driver  helped  her  to  reach  her  place  safely.

Ann's granny home was a big bungalow. But she lived alone in that bungalow. With a smiling face she opened the gate. But for her surprise when she opened the gate, the dog was barking at her, birds flying in huge number, wind was blowing in a  faster way. She got very much scared by seeing all these things. But she was  only thinking about her granny.
  
At 1:15 am she knocked the door once, twice, thrice. But her granny didn't open the door. But after a long wait, granny opened the door. She hugged her granny and tears were in her eyes. Her granny was very surprised to see Ann. Granny was happy to see her. Granny questioned Ann that ''Why you didn't come to meet me since  these many years? but now it is too late.. ''  Ann said to her, granny its not too late  I came now right everything  will be alright. 
Ann was so hungry, she asked her granny to give her something to eat. Granny went to kitchen quickly and bought some boiled milk and bread. As  Ann was tired of traveling, granny took her to the bedroom where she can rest for sometime. Both of them slept in the same room and Ann was sleeping on the lap of her granny.                                                                                     

At 1:55 am Ann heard her mobile ringing. When she woke up her granny was not with her in the room. She thought that granny may be in the other room. She picked up the call; it was her friend Jessy from Goa , the conversation was for a long time, at the middle of the conversation, Jessy questioned Ann that why you didn't attend the funeral rites of your granny ? Ann was really shocked by hearing this !!!!   She was speechless for a moment. Then Jessy said that her mom was calling , so she will call her later.                                                                                                            

     Ann didn't believe what Jessy said and she started searching for her granny. She searched everywhere in the home but  she  couldn't  find her anywhere in the home. Suddenly at  2:00 am in the morning , she heard the knocking sound of the door. Ann thought it may be her granny. But when she opened the door, she found no one at the door. She was in a deep thinking about the moment. She saw something outside through the window when she went stepping towards it, she  saw the cemetery  of  her  granny  and  the  date on  it  i.e., 06-05-2014.
   
   

She  didn't  have  an  idea  of  what  to  do further. She remembered  the  time  spent  with  her  granny but  now she is  no more !!!                                                                                                                            
Now she got to realize the meaning of the sentence told by her granny "Now its too late..."              

 Even though she was dead , her soul  still lives in that home.                                                                    

Ann  went  to  London  and  she  told  her  mom  about what  happened  with  her  in  Goa .




         

              Granny  may  be  no  more  now  but  for  Ann
she   always  lives  in  her  memories......
