I hatched out of the solid shield around me, opening my tiny eyes i saw my mother. Soon i grew jostling and playing around the farmhouse with my fellow chickens. The day was bright and shinny. We were playing in the farm with my mother and all of a sudden the sun hid behind the clouds like he was scared of something. I Heard footsteps of my owner. He grabbed my mother before i could realize it and put her in the red wheel barrow. He pushed it towards the customers at the door and sold her off to them. Pain struck like lightning, i ran around the farm like thunder but all my efforts were in vain. It rained......and.....rained, left me drained down. I sank like a broken ship, closed my eyes lying dead.
